What a great story, told by my friend Michael Jahr. This is the story of Joshua Glover, he was an escaped slave that settled in Racine, Wisconsin around 1852.  Someone turned him in and he was dragged out of his home and taken to Milwaukee courthouse (as a criminal) where 5,000 people surrounded the courthouse and demanded they release Glover....to learn more please listen, like, share.
